Karmazyn Broad Bean Seeds

Karmazyn broad beans are an improved heritage broad bean featuring attractiverose/pink beans prized for their delightfully nutty flavour. Compact, yet robust, these plants will produce a surprisingly bountiful crop for their size. The pods are upright and easy to pick and contain 3-4 beans each. Best when lightly steamed. Be careful to not overcook (the colour fades on over-cooking)

When is it best to sow Karmazyn broad bean seeds? Karmazyn seeds are normally sown in the spring between February and April, some other broad bean varieties can be sown in the Autumn months. October to November sowings can germinate within 2-3 weeks.
