Description

Butler Runner Bean Seeds

Butler runner beans are an early, compact (growing to approximately 25cm (10") long) runner bean, with the plants providing a high yield of long, smooth, stringless pods. The seeds themselves are a lovely shade of purple and the scarlet flowers will brighten up any garden or allotment. This variety is also disease resistant a super-easy to grow.

Harvest runs over a long season, and being stringless, they can be eaten when young or a little more mature. Delicious in just about any bean dish, Butlers are traditionally served lightly boiled (great with either butter or oil!) or in bean salads. They’re also a great freezing bean.
